Chocolate or vanilla? Today your Solutions Project is due! Please hand in your write up with the link on it, as well as your data files. Today is our second day dealing with Zombies! Please be sure to have this saved on your D: drive. Question of the Day:
Sneeze confetti, or laugh like a frog sounds? Today will be our first day using Greenfoot! Please download the Zombie Scenario to your D drive! We'll go over how to download and properly open this together. Please follow along carefully! With the remaining time, please finish up your write up and ask questions about the Solutions project, which is due tomorrow. Question of the Day:
Authenticity or success? Today is solutions project prototype testing day! Please leave your testing sheet on your computer, and open your project as a shared project (so people can't mess with your code!) You have the rest of class afterwards to work on fixing your bugs and anything that folks came up with as issues in your project. You could also work on your write up (see this page for details). Remember - projects are due Thursday! You'll have a little bit of time tomorrow, but not the whole class. Question of the Day:
Warm climate or all seasons? Today is test day! Please have ONE tab open only. I will give you a link to the test. Once you have finished, please put up your hand and give me a thumbs up. Cookies or cake? Today is another day to work on your solutions project. By the end of today, you should be working on your purchase screen and managing any other issues that have come up. Monday: Multiple choice test day. See yesterday blog post for review info. Tuesday: Prototype testing day. Have working version of your project ready for the class to try out. The rest of class will be for fixing your project. Wednesday: You will get some time (~30-40 minutes) to fix your project and complete the project write up. Afterwards, we'll start on some Greenfoot stuff! Thursday: Project (including write up) due at the beginning of class. Question of the Day:
Learning a new language or learning a new instrument? Today is officially your third day of coding your solutions project! By the end of today's class, you should have a shopping cart screen that displays all the items in your cart, and generates a subtotal. Watching the sunrise or stargazing? Today is the second day for coding your Solutions Project. Your prototype is due Monday, on which day we'll be testing it! Official project due date is Wednesday, April 24th. Right now, you should have all your items showing up, and have the ability to click through these. By the end of today, you should have items adding to your cart, and working on the calculate function. Here's how to round to 2 decimal points using toFixed().
