This year the Canadian Computing Competition will be written on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 @ 4pm in Room 210 Cost to write $10 Registration deadline: Wednesday, February 14th
The contest can be written in C, C++, Python (2.x and 3.x), Pascal, Java, Perl, and PHP. Instructions on how to install Python and Java, as well as submit questions to the online grader are provided below. Please see here for rules of the contest.
You must register for and practice with the online grader before writing the contest. You will not be allowed to register for the contest without registering with the CCC grader first.
No help will be provided on the day of the contest.
Message Ms. Nizio or Mr. Marshall in Edsby to let us know you are signed up. We will then approve you to access the site and send you a link to pay for the contest.
Once you are approved to use the online grader, login to https://cccgrader.com/ You should see the following page
Installing Python
First you will need to install Python on your computer (at home): https://www.python.org/downloads/ Select the checkbox: Install Python to PATH

If you are in grade 10/11 /12 it is suggested that you enter any of the Junior contests. If you are in grade 12 AP and you plan on majoring in CS, give the Senior contest a try. You do not have to decide what level of contest your are writing until the day of the contest.
